I recently stumbled on Harriet Tubman, literally.

I haven’t read the Comicbook but i followed the progress of the creators and it’s quite impressive how far they have come on Kickstarter

Harriet Tubman tells the story of a formidable ninja warrior of the same name whose enemies are slave owners who call on the help of Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, & Demons to stop her, probably from freeing slaves. The snapshots of panels I’ve seen spell Slavery and a badass woman whose trying to end it? Harriet Tubman must lead a family of slaves to freedom while battling an army of darkness.

The Dialogues are refreshing. Mind you, the comicbook contains what you don’t see in a comicbook all the time; depictions of Slavery and some words used by slave traders.
Harriet Tubman: Demon Slayer #1 was written and created by David Crownson and Illustrated by Courtland Ellis.

Is this Harriet Tubman a fictional version of Harriet Tubman, the American abolitionist, humanitarian, armed scout and spy for the United States Army during the American Civil War?  well we can’t tell yet.

Grab your copy of the comicbook through our downloads page and be sure to checkout this interview of the creator, David Crowson talking about the Comicbook. Be Awesome!
