The iconic Nigerian feminist, literary critic and award winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, who won the 2018 PEN Pinter Prize, and the Everett M. Rogers award (which she will receive in 2019) amongst other awe-mazing feats, has recently been conferred with a Humanitarian award at the 2018 Action Against Hunger Gala by the Global Hope Coalition.

This award was conferred to Chimamanda at the organization’s 19th annual gala, which took place in New York City by the CEO of the organisation, Andrea Tamburini.

The Action Against Hunger organisation strives to alleviate the sufferings of children all over the world. Hence,The Action Against Hunger Humanitarian Award, is conferred upon worthy individuals and corporations who have contributed significantly to the humanitarian cause.
