2 New Book Releases: Hot Fiction From the Bookish Oven

Hey book lover. Ta-da! I found out about two new book releases, and it’s time to share. They are some hot fiction straight from the bookish oven. Truth is, you might want to add them to your reading list.

Why you should be excited about new book releases

One, because there’s really nothing like too much books. True or yes? Secondly, it’s amazing how writers can create a different world from alphabets A-Z, thereby creating a portal for time travel. And oh… who doesn’t like new things? Hence, my enthusiasm. Still, don’t worry, you don’t have to match it. I imagine an audience as I type. Lol.

Here goes two new book releases for your to-be-read pile.

The Private Joys of Nnenna Maloney

New book releases The Private Joys of Nnenna Maloney

This promising new book was released on October 3rd, 2019.

Author: Okechukwu Nzelu

Description

As Nnenna Maloney approaches womanhood she longs to connect with her Igbo-Nigerian culture. Her once close and tender relationship with her mother, Joanie, becomes strained as Nnenna begins to ask probing questions about her father, who Joanie refuses to discuss.

Nnenna is asking big questions of how to ‘be’ when she doesn’t know the whole of who she is. Meanwhile, Joanie wonders how to love when she has never truly been loved. Their lives are filled with a cast of characters asking similar questions about identity and belonging whilst grappling with the often hilarious encounters of everyday Manchester.
The Private Joys of Nnenna Maloney is a funny and tender tribute to community, faith and forgiveness; to growing up and growing into ourselves.
