Read and Win in the 2019 Ken Saro-Wiwa Prize for Book Review

The promoters of the Lagos Book & Art Festival (LABAF), Committee for Relevant Art (CORA), hereby call for submission of entries into their 2019 Ken Saro-Wiwa Prize for Book Review. This is an annual competition with the key objective of deepening the culture of reading and engagement of content of Literary works, particularly fiction, drama, poetry and non-fiction– all the genres where the late author, environmentalist and polemicist, Ken Saro-Wiwa excelled in his lifetime and illustrious writing career.

 

To qualify for the book review competition, entrants are expected to read and review ONE of the following books:

  1. Afonja:The Rise by Tunde Leye

2019 Ken Saro-Wiwa Prize for Book Reviw

2. Three Women by Bunmi Oyinsan

3. Where Are You From? by Lola Akande

Contest Prize

N100,000 and Certificate of Participation

 

Deadline for Submission

November 2, 2019 at 12 noon.

Note: late entries will not be accommodated, and reviews should not have been previously published on any medium beforehand.
