Literary Events to Attend in September 2019

Count with me: 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28… Basically, August is wrapping up, and if you haven’t attended any literary events from January till now, there’s still time. Being an unapologetic booklover, I am usually on the lookout for literary events to attend here in Lagos ahead of time, just so, I won’t  have the “I wasn’t aware” excuse. LOL. Check out the following Literary events I came across for September 2019:

 

Connect Nigeria’s Writers Conference

Wordaholics

Basically, Wordaholics is a monthly literary gathering organised by Vivid Verses.
What to expect in this literary event:
Poetic drunkenness, spoken word performances, freestyle competitions, art and no doubt, an overdose of creativity. See their previous event

Stories Worth Telling 
Join Sworte as they host their 15th edition of stories that matter and inspire change In Nigeria. In line with the theme for this year, entrepreneurs and professionals who are all made in Nigeria and have succeeded in their various fields despite all odds, have been invited to speak at this event which promises to be lit.
Date: September 22
Time: 3 p.m
Venue: Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
