The maiden edition of this contest focuses on two main genres which are: poetry and flash fiction, and there are two judges: Okwudili Nebeolisa (Poetry) and Su’eddie Vershima Agem (Flash Fiction)

 

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this contest, you must be 21 years or younger as at December 2017. Yep, you read right. Younger, NOT older.
Candidates older than this age would be disqualified automatically, and the contest is open to Nigerian residents alone.

 

Guidelines

Your submitted work must be unpublished before submission.
Every contestant is entitled to only ONE category.That is: either poetry or flash fiction.
All submissions should be forwarded to: kreativediadem@gmail.com 

  • The subject of the mail should read – Annual Writing Contest.
  • The body of the mail should contain the following: Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Age, and Title of Entry.
  • Please attach the entry itself as an MS-Word file.

If you’re submitting flash fiction, the maximum amount of words should be 1,500 words.

For poetry, your poem must have a title, be original and should not exceed 40 lines.

The aim of this contest is to give young writers a voice, and encourage them to unleash their creativity. Every writer has the right to write.
