June 10, 2017 is the date comic fans need to mark on their calendar.
Earlier today, the Dreammaker, Ayodele Elegba, founder, Lagos Comic Con and CEO Spoof animations took to Instagram to announce the birth of a Spoof Comics unit.
Ayodele pegged the release date of titles under the re-branded comic unit to June 10.
Although details are still sketchy about what the Spoof Universe will look like but the publisher promises a debut of four comic titles and publication of at least six titles by the end of the year. All of which are fresh!
As if that is not exciting enough, Spoof CEO via an exclusive gist gave a glimpse of what titles to expect.
According the publisher, the fans should anticipate the debut releases of never seen before African titles like Jinx, Voyager, Boxsa and Vantage. The four titles which are aimed at kick-starting the re-branded Spoof Comic unit, will be joined with heroes from two additional new titles as Ayodele promises a release of at least six titles by the end of the year, a strategy aimed at building new lines of heroes for the Spoofverse.
Ayodele Elegba, the creator and writer of Strike Guard, is a renowned face in the Africa comics landscape for his ground-breaking dreams and has thrown lots of his creative weight over geek events, while at the same time nurturing a set of Spoof generals via his Spoof Animation company.
